is the trend now to steel all the nice / bling bling rims?
this morning when driving to work, saw a brand new myvi hilang all wheels (rims+tyres)
wow.... then being sangkut by those batu only, duno how the owner will react once see the car
is it the trend to steal all the nice rims / bling bling rims?
or is it the place we parked?

Unfortunately, tyres as well as rims are stolen frequently. And it does not have to be very nice rims too. Most of the time these tyres and rims are stolen to be sold as spares.
I have read about tyres and rims being stolen even in condo's parking lot.

Yes, there is a demand for spare parts, even 2nd hand ones. My previous car's spare tyre was stolen some years ago. I had to buy a 2nd hand sports rim and new tyre to replace them. I did cross my mind then about the source of the 2nd hand sports rim -- was it legitimately obtained or stolen and sold to me? In total, I spent about RM350 to replace my spare wheel.
