it was fast as compare to other SUV but not as fast as a GTI ler. for a weight of 1.6T and getting to 100kph in less than 9sec good enough loh. it 'always on' 280Nm torque between 1700-5000rpm really make it fast!!!

Hi Tazz,
I know you have already settled with Tiguan, I was just wondering whether if you have considered Volvo XC60 while trying to make up your mind. Maybe you can share a bit plus/minus points if you have considered the XC60. Thanks.

hi bro,
i didnt consider the XC60 during my 'shopping'. i heard a lot of -ve about volvo ownership which mainly very costly n not reliable. i favour german technology and its well known 2.0 TSI engine n handling.

just sharing, today had a long run on my tig. from Kampar to Batang Kali to Gotong Jaya to Karak and finally back to Shah Alam. total close to 400km. it is really effortless for this 2.0 TSI lump climping the slope and with 5-6 gear is more than enough (non-dsg). 100-130kph handling is superb over those curvy road. with fully loaded 3 adults + 3 kids. weight will be about close to 2Tons.
in terms of FC, it still got 1/4 left and estimated should reach 600km for 60-63liter. that is about 10-11liter/100km. i think reasonable loh.
i think the name TIGUAN really match its character... Tiger + Iguana
