As an added security measure, it is recommended to put a lock on the car bonnet/hood to prevent car thieves (or at least, make it harder) to pop the hood and cutting the battery or car horn/alarm.
My question: has anyone done this for their car? I heard it involves drilling holes into the bonnet! If so, are the holes visible from outside? I mean, are there actually ugly nuts and bolts visible on top of the hood?

Thanks for the pics. I've seen them around, and I always thought they were accessories stuck on the hood for show. Now I know!
But I noticed from yuor pics they also come with locks but those have to be put on top of the hood? Wonder if direct exposure to rain would be a problem to the locks. Anyway, drilling holes into my car hood makes me squirm ... like going for root canal for my tooth.

Cheetah hood lock no longer available! Went to shop, asked them, and they said, "Sorry, no longer available."
Then asked, "You cannot order, meh?"
They replied, "Sorry, also cannot. No longer available. But you can try the other accessory shop nearby."
So I went to two other accessory shops, but all look at me as if I am talking nonsense about hood lock. One even thought I want to convert my MPV into sports car by installing a sports hood! Very cham.
I am pretty sure *there are* accessory shops that install hood locks! Help!
