Seen a few Basic Puntos, like 96/97 models. What is a fair prise? Need a
car for the wife to pot around to market, school for the kids & stuff
like that. The Selecta 1.3A seems under powered, not that I want a good
kick from the lights. Any problems with this model.

MASsenger, hey bro, why not join us over at Italiaauto and there you can ask as many questions
regarding the Puntos or whatsoever. my good friend drives a 1.6 Punto, pretty good i must say.

Tks vonning, I was also eying the GT, but being 2 door very difficult
with the kids lah. I`m sure the GT will perform better. Anyway the wife
is happy with the 1.3, she just want a basic model with out all the fancy
stuff lah. Saw a 2000A SPi for RM35,000/-, very good shape, like new. Ok
ah this price?

Just saw a Nova 2001 for 43K. This model is certainly much better to
drive than the Selectra. The pick up is better with the 16valve engine.
70K milage, general condition good, but when I started the engine there
was a bit of noise, like tappet noise. After running a bit, the noise
went away. Sales man said this is normal for continential car. Is this a
fair price.

hmmm MASsenger, normal for Euro cars? errr i reckon not bro. basically tappets sound can be
found in cars like Wira, Satria and also Mitsu. used them before, so i know. and yup, the Nuova is
better la, equipped with 16V instead of the 8V MK1.
