yeah, 13 rexton with black smoke on high speed. I don't realize about my rex black smoke problem, just notice there will be if I press the pedal to max in the morning while heating up the engine, then I got warning from workshop, we should not do that in heating the engine in the morning, just leave the engine idle. Beside never reach more than 120km/h, this is big SUV, and it's stable even in high speed but afraid about the cost for emergency brake.
Those morning warm up are for 30 years old diesel lorry or buses la. Start engine and keep it iddle for several minutes while you admiring her beauty is good enough.
Right, it is dangerous for emergency brake at 120kmh. Has to be very careful and alert on high speed, especially those that did not comes with all the safety features that Rexton has.

BLACK SMOKE
Hi guys,
May I add in a little observation from an ECU tuner's point of view....I have remapped quite a few Rexton's to date and to my surprise, almost all of those rextons I remapped had different mapping tables in the Smoke Emission. It means some Rexton may have more black smoke than the others.
Anyway, we will eliminate most of the black smoke after the Ecu remap.

Thanks Dylan for the info. Good to know remapping helped to eliminate black smoke. The black smoke mentioned here is more as a joke than a problem.

Bro Nik,
Your remap ride really got the ommph !!! good test drive la!
unable to observe the smoke, maybe during TT.
Anyway thks for the test and TT in Prai.
The ultimate measure of man is not what he stands for in moments of comfort or convenience, but where he stands at times of challenges and controversy.

So you tested drive Bro Nik's Trexton? Elaborate in more details about the difference in performance la.
During TT test drive, should shoot a video so the performance could be calculated and compared with stock condition.
