Hi Sifu,

I went to an accessories shop to put alarm system.

i noticed that one of the wiring to the siren is wired from the dashboad tru the door hanger and to the bonnet..

I mean that the wiring is visible when u open the door, coz is just at the front door hanger.

I have question the technician there, and he said, most of the car they did were wired tru that way. And he said the other option is from dashboard to the front wheel fender and to the bonnet. Coz he said it is impossible to wired directly from dashboard to bonnet. Can any1 veify on that?

Now im worried if comething wrong to the wiring, it may cause short-circuit and affect the electronics of the vehicle..

Please advice..

What car you're driving?

Some car have to loop the wire through visible location. But most case should be able to hide nicely.
Ram me if you can!

So Sifu,,

Will it be any danger to the car's electronics if wired near the door hinge?

There's no other way? unsure.gif I'm not sure with Citra. Is this wire for the door's sensor? Worst come to worst you'll have a false alarm or that door alarm sensor not working. Won't spark and caught fire, coz alarm signal basically no noticeable vloltage.

If they use insulating black tape to cover the wire then it should last for years provided no itchy hand go messing with it. Check on it visually every week. If got visible damage on the outer core, then you know which shop to go to and which head to knock. sterb292.gif
