- Reliability - On par. Honda is prone having suspension prob. Take good care of the Mits. CVT transmission tho
- Value for money - GT, coz RM5K cheaper than FD2 for the same spec & acc.
- cost of maintenance - Mits is cheaper on long run (> 3 yrs)
- fuel consumption - FD is slightly better
- resale value - Honda la of course
- handlling - GT for sure
- n etc - Choose a car that suits your personality. The new GT facelift will make you standout from the rest. What type of driver are you? Go for test drive and decide...

Add one more. Civic dashes ratter after one year, SC also dunno how to eliminate. My colleague is driving a 2008 2.0L bought brand new. Maybe he got himself a lemon?

GT are high specs CBU so I think it should be quite safe from those who knows the specs. Even the new "WaLan" might not get the same look, definitely not the 4B11 engine with CVT, and you can forget about the paddle shifter.
Just my 20cent.

Lancer is Mitsu flagship and they don't even let other countries go CKD. Not even Thailand. Main reason is to retain the quality & status. The Waja will or will not look like Lancer. New Waja might be using just the platform and will come up with own design. Current Waja is using Mitsu Carisma platform but doesn't look like Carisma at all. Entirely different. Mitsu-Proton alliance?? Will it happen or will it end up just like alliance with Volkswagen?? Selling engines and platform yes. Rebadge?? Depends on which model. Still unknown. China carmakers now so rich still no chance to get Mitsu current generation engine. Ever wonder why the 4G18 engine was removed from Waja and replaced with Campro back then?
But I'm sure Mitsu haters & other car companies salesmen will keep mentioning new Waja is rebadged Lancer to scare off buyers and to grab some sales from it. Normal.
Hi SplitFire,
The best way to eliminate Civic rattle is to DIY or send to Soundproof specialist that really know how to handle dash callipers other than inserting foam into pillars and panels. SC not allowed to change the design of callipers and any other parts both technical & non-technical. They must follow OEM in everything or risk shutdown.
