yes i know this thread concerning why bikers should pay tolls..but the reason posted so far is like from a kid's mind..or even worse..i'm doing my best to try being a kid to understand u guys...

topic: motorcycle tolls (why should bikers pay tolls)
reason:
1. bikers being abusive OTR (please define abusive)
2. bikes being pollutive when they mod intake sh1t and exhaust sh1t (is this 4 real)
3. swerve left and right causing jamms (laugh a lot on this one,u were just like thinking very hard out of your empty brain to put the blame on bikers)

conclusion:
better get back to your nerdy team with a thick glasses and think more....coz i can't stand drivers who think they are so great...

just let me tell u a story when i ride from KL to malacca..
while i stop for a gas and plan to take a nice nap,i stumbbled upon a man,woman and a child in front riding a Honda EX5..
in case most of you nerdy don't know what is a Honda EX5..it is a kapchai 97cc with a max speed of 90-100km/h...
the man stop at the booth where i plan to take a nap,while the woman goes to the toilet..
and i ask him "where to?"
he said "batu Pahat"
"from?" i said..
"from ipoh" he said..
oh my god...some of u might not believe this..even do i...
but judging from the kid in front and overall condition,i can guarantee they rode long enough...

"tak penat ke?"i ask..
he said " nak buat macam mana dik,ini je ade?lagipn kami berenti banyak tempat,rehat"

i'm amazed and i prayed he could own a car some day..



if this is the guy u guys plan to put tolls on,go ahead..u guys are pain in the a$$

bikers refering to those riding 2 wheelers..

I've not riding for about 10 yrs. Actually its really not safe to ride. Especially in JB. Bikers are primary targeted victims for Mat Rempits and snatch thief. Coz so many bikers riding to Singa-Land to work. Anyway, riders & drivers live along quite happily in JB. Here got alot of people riding cup-chai to work day time, in the evening driving Estima for family outing. And I understand all non Singa-Land plate bikes gor to pay like S$4 upon entry.

While tol for bikers, here in JB no elevated highway yet. So cannot comments. But I did met a 'near accident' with a bike on Ampang-KLCC elevated highway. A bike was riding at 50km/h along the twist and turn after 50Cent tol heading Ampang, around 10pm without rear brake light. Bikers are not allow on this highway right? Or this rider are planning something, or lost in the city? Anyway, its rare case.

You're truly right mr SF..actually riders & drivers also quite happy and tolerate each other here in KL..only those exceptional drivers here whom they think they were good enough to hentam "bikers" such as imposing toll etc etc..

So far I'm happy been a bikers in KL as I kept my MPV at home for weekend drive..cheers..

*the width of proper lane that bigger bike also can use without troubles

*proper paths (now it is more like a motocross track on asphalt)

*motorcycle patrols on duty (to keep other rider safe from snatchers/crooks)

i am a rider and a driver too. i drive to avoid toll. i ride to save money and time. when i using the road i met with different kind of riders and drivers. some drivers and riders swerve left to right without signal, some likes to brake, some going slow in the right lane, some speed off when people going to overtake them and going slow later on. what's the point anyway??

C'mon la, riding a bike hardly damage the road. How much u expect to collect from bikers? 20 cents?? pls la.

And my final argument. Roads are meant to be provided by the govt. and should be free regardless of riders and bikers. It's an obligation for a government to provide road (i stress this again) whether it's a big road (highway) or small one. Don't say it'll cost a lot of money. when u gave highway to private company and later by paying to them compensation and collection from the public will this cost more. Don't let sam value's legacy influence u. u are way better than him!

thank you rallychamp, you seem to have grasped the issue.
Road design is really terrible in Malaysia, for bikers and for vehicle users, but somewhat irrelevant to the main topic, because you DON'T HAVE to use the toll highways, and you shouldn't be entitled to without paying a toll!

*i'm totally agree to technod posts on this....

-how much do u think for bikes tolls fare???then if this tolls issue has been realized are u satisfied???are u sure theres no more other issue will arise???can u guarantee that bikers recieved 100% same level of highway services after being tolled???or will u ride to work???or u still keep on being stuck with thousand other drivers driving a car alone???


*for me being hate stuck in the traffic jams because cars/bus/lorry etc become too much already..so i ride my bike to work..if u say why not use public transport...then why don't we start with ourself first???or you already realized that the public transport system couldn't cope??or u being jealous because stuck in the traffic plus being tolled while bikers can pass-by freely and free from being tolled???
