As long as is a honest review, i am all for it and so far ur review has been pinpoint and accurate and understanding what ppl looking for in a review. No need add flower flower like the TXX GXXR ppl which their gramar sucks too, sentence which dosen't make sense as well.
Thanks!
It does help that I came from the other side of the fence i.e. the reader. I have been avidly reading TGM and Autocar, and I draw heavy inspiration of their writers - local and international.
I read Jeremy Clarkson's writings on CBT weekly without fail, and my initial works admittedly were modelled after his. However, the local audience are not so receptive to the sarcasm which is his trademark, so I've since toned down on it.
The playing field in Malaysia is slightly different in the sense that we need to also maintain a good relationship with the manufacturers. As a result, my criticisms has to be worded in a constructive way, so that we do not come across as being arrogant and at the same time not cheat our readers.
For my first few reviews, you would probably see that I'll be giving reasonably positive verdicts for most cars, as I am still relatively unexposed to higher-end vehicles. I have driven Mercedes and Bimmers since my days in uni, but those just brief public test drives.
At this stage, I do need a lot of practice, and a lot of exposure, both in getting the attention of the various PR people (this is to ensure I get the invites to all events) and also in experiencing the drives of various vehicles (this is, of course, to ensure I deliver better balanced verdict to you guys!)
