To avoid any unnecessary burden on their drivers, the developer of GT-R, NISMO, has been exploring a solution to install air-conditioner in GT-R. Installing air-conditioner would mean increase in overall weight and decrease in horsepower, thus considered unsuitable for racing cars.
Against the odds, GT-R camp has developed air-conditioner for racing cars and will inaugurate practical use in Sepang. Will this new armory be effective? Nobody knows but it may well be a plus point since the cool suit often fails in Sepang at one point or another.
I've heard that the sole entry with a Singaporen driver; team Thunder Asia MT900R will also have air-cond in their Mosler MT900R.
Aint' this an interesting development.

How true also... I was at the back of the pit garage when they rushed the driver of that Mach Go team into a portable swimming pool and cover him with Ice cubes. He was seriously dehydrated.
