Hi all,

It has been more than seven months from my last update smile.gif

Our Citroen Grand C4 Picasso still rocks after coming to two years.

We kept the service with Brooklands Motors although still not the best. But, it still has among the full spare parts, as well as workmanship that I think reliable, for the price we are paying.

I know some of you would not agree with the workmanship of Brooklands Motors. But, I could possibly make several rounds of complaints, until they fixed the issues.

About the maintenance, it is considerably high if it is with Brooklands Motors.

I have checked 2 Citroen service centres in Old Klang Road as well as in Puchong, my wife and I do not feel comfortable sending the car over. So we stick with Brooklands.

The car is definitely very nice to drive around and be in it. We have taken it to east coast, north and south, clocking close to 50,000km.

Because of experience with Citroen, we are thinking of getting another France or continental car as our second car. But that could change, as we might opt for hybrid.

Just sent our car for the 45,000km service.

Also got the centre display meter changed under warranty claim. Because of minor pixel issue.

There is a workshop in Puchong - Ah Lang. The owner is former Directional engineer.

He seems to be good, I have visited him, but not to service the car. Just to check out the place.

Tansamuel, definately it will affect your display. There are some plp selling the interface over ebay uk. Try it, maybe cheaper and its plug and play. Just need a good technician to install....

For C4GP - do not simply change the head unit and hooking up by wire cutting.
The mechanics will messed up with the CAN-BUS and you will have
tons of headache.

Better buy adapters called Connects2 which taps to the bus properly.

You need Connects2 Adapter, then patch lead for your unit.
Refer to the page above.

Is it the one near NSK? I just bought a C5 2007 a few days ago and I'm staying at JB. But I go Puchong quite frequently asI've an office there.

Is it expensive to service there? Can give me a rough indication for simple job like engine oil and filter change?

Thank you very much.

Regards,

There are quite a few workshops around Puchong / Subang USJ area . As for how much it cost for an oil change , it depends on what type of lubricant you intend to use .

I suppose for normal oil change, we can step into any workshop. You probably don't have to step into a citroen specialist shop.

However, for more citroen specific maintenance, for example, changing of timing belt, replacing a fuel pump, ECU diagnosis, I wonder how much would these specialist charge me. I don't have an idea since I just owned this used C5 for a few days.

By the way, I usually bring my own oil to the workshop for servicing.

Thank you.
