Finally bought the Swift, I was petrified by the Bestari`s gearbox issues. Please note, the problem is not the g/b itself, but rather brought on by incompetent SC.
I simply can`t take my eyes off 308,wow,but would`nt touch it cos of the monkeys at the SC. Unfortunately in bolehland almost all SCs suck. When you buy a car that needs particular attention, then maintenance must match that level. No point buying a Ferrari if can`t maintain it! Just check the SC horror stories at this forum.

yup...comparing the same price region....however, many years ago i tested my permata fren's 206 cbu with 1.6 manual, pick up is much better and can smoke EG civic at KLIA highway...

however, my fren bought it for around 148K (if i am not mistaken) at that time

and every car have diff feeling either for driver or passenger..i advise u to test drive both car first and choose which car is better for u...
for the cc sake..for me swift is better
for handling, for sure 206
plz noted that now the SC for 206 is better and trained mech are handling the cars...
regarding the gearbox...u just have to maintain the g/box properly..change the ATF when the time has come..it goes to all cars not regarding what brand....

agreed... u will only feel and appreciate the good handling of 206 with bigger cc to push for more agressive driving. The stock 1.4 cannot reveal much of its performance... Having said both models are well known all around the world and used in rally competition.
i heard now the 206 is on superb promotion... free interest for 12 yrs loan, no d/payment, free insurance and road tax.... fullamak... just bring a pen with you and can get new car... very tempting offer... do they have new colors to choose?

Sounds good only la bro! Read NAZA forum on feedback from new owners on this deal. You know, I really wish the monkeys get their house in order. The latest Pugs from France are simply superb!

Hi Guys,
I have just took delivery of my new Bestari 206. Was really excited over the whole idea but things turn into alittle disappointment when i discover a few things about my car which indicates it might be an old refurbished unit. I am not sure any owners had notice this pieces but here's my highlight:
1. Paint marks all over places which shouldn't be painted - under door handles, mud-guard screws, bumper, rubber rails.
2. Broken glass debris - not sure to consider myself lucky but i found this little piece of broken glass when i flipped open the carpet of my trunk!!.
3. Rust undercarriage - by the joins of absorbers
4. Heavily repainted undercarriage. Some of the black paint spills over to the back of the rim.
5. Little bubbles on rubber windscreen.
6. Suspension fells very soft despite tyre pressure at 245psi!!.. Anyone can vouch for this one?
7. Dent on the roof
8. Algae growth at the bottom of the windscreen.
After seeing all these, I got very curious exactly when was this car manufactured, so I set forth to search for parts in the car which may give me clues like inspection date, mfg date and etc. Interestingly, I found none, and I am so so puzzled as this is the first time i see a brand new car with so little post-QC info and so much cover-up. All I manage to get was the year the parts was manufactured and mostly indicated 06.
I really hope I am not the only one seeing this as I feel really short-changed for a so called "good deal" on a continental car.
Anyone got similar experience or some info to share, please advice. Appreciate the help very much.
Thank you.

This is from 206 forum. Not saying every car on this deal is as such. It`s the way the company went about in the delivery of the car to this owner.
