i will not need 10 cupholders for crying out loud.
CPS is performing well in gen2 and waja, and its performance can be appreciated at the top end of the rev band.

relax bro, i know you entered and lost that naming contest same as me but nevermind, let's wait for the next Proton SUV naming contest (if any) OK..

i do not mind losing, but the reasoning they gave for choosing exora is ridiculous.

Yes u can see there the power to weight ratio for Innova even the 2.0G auto is only 86.35bhp per tonne. While the Exora estimated figure will be 90.58 horsepower per tonne.
Citra Rondo, though using 2.0l engine, also recorded decent 91.2 bhp per tonne which is similar to Exora. Yes some people might argue timing belt is a hassle, but research shows that timing belted engine have lower NVH and recorded slightly better fc.
The only grin i have is whether the Exora will have enough torque.

timing chain has a longer service life; at least 400,000km. timing belt is designed to go max 100K only.
exora has good power to weight ratio but bear in mind that the extra power comes only at a higher rpm when the timing is altered by the CPS. in real life driving... most of the users will be driving around 2-3,000rpm only.
still 80K is one price too high. 10 cupholders dont do justiceto it. neither cheap dashboard control knobs.
as malaysian, we expect better.

Well the 2008 Rondo has 10 cupholders as well. 2009 Rondo has 8 cupholders.
We should be using torque instead of power as it is torque which gives you pulling power.
