Would be as hairy as doing it with an Unser. It doesn't have the sort of
sharp acceleration to let you build up speed high enough before you enter
a corner so you would have to be going down a straight very very fast and
get into the turn at a high speed. Not something I want to do with such a
tall vehicle.

I think the only time I have read about a SUV doing such things on tarmac
has been that super X5 which BMW developed and Hans Stuck drove it right
at the limit.

I think in the last review of the AutoCar (Asean Ed), that was a caution
on swift lane changes. Love to see Rexton roll over, since saw a few lady
driving it on fast lane, not knowing the vocabulary.

The false security of SUV.

After the Ford Explorer accidents, Ford and most manufacturers put very
specific warnings concerning the dynamics of SUVs and pick-ups, warning
that they cannot be cornered like passenger cars. I think that if a
person drives a SUV or pick-up, he or she should be sensible enough to
know the limits.

Sensible ppl?! If these SUB/MPV drivers were sensible, I don't think Ford
and other manufacturers have to issue warnings, right? Wink

My parents push their Estima L 2.4 G7 to 140km/h, still very stable.(But
think Aeras & Aeras-S should be more stable)

AAM, going at 140km/h on a straight road in a 2.4l Estima is not 'pushing'
it la, dei. That's just p.ussyfooting. Try taking sharp curves at that
kinda speed, then you can deem that you have 'pushed it hard'.

It was tested on an empty road somewhere in Terenggannu with some curves
2 years ago.(Don't worry my parents are safe/sensible/careful drivers).
