Hi all,
If I do the swap of my proton diesel 2.0 4D68 engine to also 2.0 4D68 from Japan can JPJ approve without having to pay double road tax as diesel roadtax is already same to the gasoline engine not as before diesel car roadtax is categorise into green engine and non-green engine.PLS HELP.
THANKS.

Well, since the capacities are unchanged, I don't believe it's much of an issue, though you would still need to register the changed engine number.

You might want to try and source for the turbocharged variant of this engine. Some batches of export Wiras were equipped with the 4D68T.

if i am not mistaken, the green road tax rate is only applciable to new cars and valid for a specific period after.
