Just asked Stamford Tyre in Melaka Raya and they quoted RM410 for Falken ST115 215/45/17. Such a big difference compared to their Shah Alam outlet.
Anyway, the guy there mentioned that maybe tyre price will go down (he actually anticipates it) because according to him price of rubber has gone down. Any comment?

Unfortunately I didn't see the tyre or asked its origin. Would it make much diff in price?
I've been looking at different places for this tyre. In Eneos where displayed tyres are accessible (i.e. they are stacked on the floor not on wall/ceiling racks) I can vouch that they originated from Japan. Unfortunately Eneos price is expensive (the highest compared to all other places I've checked).

Eneos is a corporation and sells at fixed price. For discounted price you will have to ask around other tyre shops.
The country of Origin is not because of the price. I have used many sets of ST115 before and they were from Japan. At one time when they launch ZE-912, ST115 supposed to have been discontinued. One forumer mention he saw some ST115 which were printed Made in Indonesia. Just want to confirm who is correct, and update for our knowledge.
