The new Peugeot 308 was launched by Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razak."

QUOTE (Aturk @ Jan 29 2009, 02:00 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Agree with intermilan....no more the happy factor.....
But I think the disappointment is more because of the price range quoted/floated around before.....it being a sub 95k and sub 110k for the Vti and Thp.....
Now that it is not priced as most of us had hoped for....other factors will be taken into consideration when considering a new car....maybe will wait until economy is better...or wait another year and see what type of after sales service can Nasim provide for its customers...before jumping in with the deposit.....

yeah,
initially some might be a little grumpy about the higher-than-expected/wish-for official OTR price and the little despair might develop into a whole new exercise in re-assesssing the car not emotionally anymore but rather via strict logic and functional assessment method.
but genuine interest shall prevail over time and over this small trial..
if the offerings does provide value over the asking price, Nasim shouldn't have too much to worry about.
btw, the price of the car itself should be in the sub-RM95K and sub-RM110K range respectively. its the 'extra' e.g. insurance etc that push the final OTR price above the range.

I guess when the early unofficial quotes came about, one should determine if its on the road pricing. If not, including insurance and knick knacks will push it up a bit.
