Hi,
Problem ni common to early fuel injection engine. Tak kira lah apa make
pun. The fuel in the fuel line becomes vapor due to heat from engine.
Vapor lock. How do you pump vapor? Vapor compressible so takes time
liquid fuel to reach engine. Temporarily engine tak start. Ni tak de
cure kecuali design change. Fuel to change into vapor takes time too.
Tu pasal right after engine off no problem. But if you leave it after an
hour or so susah nak start.

not true actually for a CI FI in a volvo. It has valves in the system that
has one of its designs is to prevent vapour lock and assist hot starting.
Anyway my starting problem cured and I'm very happy
Turns out what it needed was new injector seals, some cleaning of the
intake port and decarbonization. Volvo forever!
