Cap48,
If I keep my 6363, when can I experience the raw power of 6622 ?

Thrawn,
Yes, yes. V50 is great. But not available for sale now isn’t it? Will see
you and your S60 when you’re up in KL.

If you are looking for a 850GLE 20V. May be you can check up this guy's,
Steven Choong at 07-2347281. His is the last batch of 850 facelfted with
half leather and wood steering wheel, etc, just before the launched of S70.

Thanks scenic, called him but he was not available. will try again most
definitely. you know where his place (of business of course) is?

i sent my baby to sm motors in sg this morning for its last free
servicing (60,000km oledi!) and (somewhat regretfully) had no major
problems for them to rectify. i was hoping some major thing would break
lose before the end of free maintenance period. anyway, the warranty's
still on until 75,000km, which for me translates to about 3-4months.
hope it'd remain dependable for years to come!

sm motors has a red unit of P1800 in its showroom, the paintwork's MUCH
better than my 1.5 year old baby!

i spoke to this guy who said it's his own car and his unsure whether to
sell or not. hmm... i smell selling tactics here. so i oso said i wasnt
sure whether to buy or not.

went around jb town with my dad, spotted a few 940s but no 850s. there
was only one 850 wagon (awesome, all BLACK) but used by the salesman who
seemed a bit stuck up so i left. guess what you drive to see these
buggers makes a difference huh. anyway, going to see a neighbour's 1997
850 later this week.

anyone knows the main diff between 850 and S70? i saw a few S70 2.0T but
for 850s mainly 2.5GLE and SE. does S70 2.0T has the same engine with
S60/S80 2.0T?

850GLE, wished i could see you ride first.

my lil bro found this white 850GLT in kuantan, 1995, 1 owner (company
car) that has only clocked around 70,000km, going for RM48k oni. he test
drove the car and told me it feels fine, with no apparent gear-change
jerk or whatever.

Prob - i was out of reach for some time and he went ahead and placed a
deposit.

my Q - if i'm not mistaken FA Kuantan is gone, do you know where else i /
my bro could send the car to for a complete check and get a repair quote
in kuantan?

another thing - can the odometer in the 850 be tempered with? 70,000km
for an almost 10 year old car sounds too good to be true. but then,
there's only been one owner. any offers?

Thrawn,

The mileage meter can be easily been tempered. However you can check the
actual mileage by using the electonic service device (OBDII)reader and
check the actual mileage. But i do not know whether this engine
management system is available in GLT model.
