Yaa Ziemann..betul kata glock & uncle Cap.
actually, that sound quite familiar with 740/940 series especially when
using the cheapo brake pads like me. eheheheh
normally DON brand creeehing like that. my mechanic said it is okay if i
am changing to expensive brake pads such as bendix metal king. tapi mahal
wooo...(RM 400)
but since glock said 'It's your life they're dealing with.....'
pejam mata, bayar je...
in my case, bila brek tutup telinga or increase the radio volume..hehehh

Hi Micheal,
I'm near the border but seldom cross over.
Cap48, glock and volvoman,
Thanks for your replies. Well, atually oledi bought the car. Get it tested
by sis-in-law hubby who is a mechanic with the police. 2 weeks oledi using
the car. No complain except for the brakes and it's a bit thirsty compared
to my previous Ford Telstar 1.8M. Drive the car back to AS, it drank RM75
of petrol for 460km journey!
Back to the brake, didn't hear any sound when applying the brake but it
comes out when the car is coming to stop. Ide volvoman tu baik jugak if
the problem is just the sound. Furthermore, I can't hear the sound if the
window is closed.
BTW, does any1 know a good mechanic in AS who does not sembelih?
Thanks again cap48, glock and volvoman.
