Dear all,

I'm getting a new Nissan Sentra 1.6 SGL soon? It comes with stock alarm
and immobilizer. I also have a Stop Lock.

What else do i need to do to make it really difficult for thieves to:

1. Even enter my car, steal stuff.

2. Drive it away.

Also, the suggestion of just "leave the car at home" is not acceptable =>

Thanks for all your great insights,
cph

cph,

Don't go overboard and spend too much on alarm. Even the best alarm in the
world can't stop a tow truck.

Best time to smash the window is when it's raining heavily, got

Hi cph,

I learnt from other ppl's experience ..

My fren's car, which he parked just outside his hse, near a padang, had
its window smashed during a thunderstorm. Smartag stolen! My fren was
furious cos he got to pay more (for the window) than what he lost. Frown

nowdays theft will cuts using glass cutter along the windows frame and
then use spark-plug heads/nail to crack the glass ... this will rpoduce
low dessible /db sound for glass breaking sensor to pickup ... esp if yr
car got tinted films ...

the best is just installed cabin motions detector/sensor in yr car ...

i regrets inslll my car only glass breking sensors.
