my car was broke in while i was jogging, they broke my keyhole, why the
alarm didnt trigger? i was surprised, finally after repair of my keyhole,
I found out when I m using the key to open manually the alarm will
disarm. I was shocked, then I complain to Honda Malaysia, they will look
into it, later honda staff called me and tell me this is their
design.they said will keep in touch with me but until a month, havent
receive any feed back from honda malaysia.
I m very disappointed.

I have tested this before, if you use your car key to unlock, it will
also disarm the alarm as it has a chip in the key.
What I did was, lower the car window and then arm the alarm. Then you use
your hand to open from inside the car, see whether it will trigger the
alarm or not.
As for your broke keyhole and alarm didn't trigger, let Honda Malaysia
gets back to you, you can keep sending them reminders through it's
website lor.

thank you for your responding, I feel honda malaysia like they are buying
times to push you away, they are not initiative to respond me. when I
called them and made a noise then later they only forward you a letter.
They are not care center to honda owner.

Hello Gary,

Just tested my Civic alarm, the alarm gets triggered as soon as I use the
key to unlock the car, different setup I guess. Anyway from my recent
visit to the service center the mechanic confirms that if you want to get
attention at Honda SC, you need to make alot of nice. I ask if there will
be a recall with regards to the engine mounting issue on my Civic he said
that Honda is sending out letters to "affected" owners, if you want
faster response you need to make some noise - meaning bypass those
passive owners. That is not very professional. Also "affected owners"
means that those who notice the sound and made a complaint. They know
that all Civis are affected, they won't make massive recalls.

Those Accord owner,

If all door locked by centre lock and front passenger door opened by lever,
will it lock the driver door? I meant you can only open the door from
outside. I have to wind down the windows to open the door.

i received an email from a friend that his cousin's new accord 07 was
hijacked near damansara utama.

my brother in-law called me last week telling me to be careful as his
client's new accord was hijacked near sunway pyramid. their modus
operandi is they will knock your car from behind. once you get out from
your car, they will approach you to shake your hand feeling very
apologetic. once they shake your hand, they will pull you and give you a
punch on your stomach and then push you to the ground. of course the next
thing is they will drive off your car.

Same happen to me, have u change the lock? Honda SC quoted me RM400++ to change the lock. Try looking any shop that can fix my lock.
