now available in the market? Price and reliability?
I heard that there are various type of it, some with cards (engine will
die if drive without card), some by
password (can`t start if incorrect pw), etc.....and some can get it at
RM188, RM388...., or more...which type is better and reliable?
Please give some comment here.

My car is fixed with Cheetah immobilizer, I can only remember it was RM
1,100+. There is a receiver installed at the back of driver's seat,
sensing the transponder card which you have to put inside your wallet
while starting the car (the sensor parameter is well within inches,
therefore putting in your shirt pocket doesn't work). Once the car is
started, within 45 seconds if the receiver is not sensing any signal from
transponder fuel will be cut off and engine stalled. It works the same
way when any car doors are opened and closed.
I don't know if this is the best product, but am quite sure this can slow
down the car thieves in stealing the car. Also, there is no full-proof
products when the car thieves are all out to get your car. We can only be
careful to choose the place we park our car, be vigilant while
approaching the car etc, try to minimise the risk we becoming a victim.
Hope the info helps.

Thanks for your feedback.
I wonder why some of these immobilizer is so cheap, like I say RM188 to
Rm388, include installation. Some shops drop the leaflet in my mail box.
I afraid even I install these cheap one, maybe the thief can just unplug
easily, but maybe it works also.
So anyone out there ever install these cheaper range immobilizer? How was
it? (Even cheaper but if it really work, should be ok also.)

like I say if the system is too simple, the thief might just unplug it.
