1-stop is selling locktech for RM380 exclude installation. Installation
have to add RM40.

He show me the box but not else in it...only locktech mechanism. Not even
manual or card.

My question, how do I know if this is real or fake? The box looks real and
so is the mechanism. If they are selling below RM300, then I believe it is
fake. But the price is RM380, so how to tell?

Original Locktech:-

Hardened Steel
Key-Hole Cylinder is Anti-Drill
Good Workmanship
Packing for Malaysia Market = Black Colour Box with picture showing
Locktech Model installed on a Yellow Rod. 1st batch packing = English
Wording mix with Thai wording. New packing = 100% English wording.

1-Stop? Johnsmith, may I know which shop selling it ? If we were to
install, will the installation be done on the parking lot or we have to
look for car accessories shop to install ?

Thank-you

hi, i'm also interested in getting a brake lock...but considering whether
to go for locktech or autolock.... noticed autolock selling only for rm125
at eneos..probably fake one...any idea which is better?

olso hv another question trying to get answer, are there different sizes
for different cars?...meaning if i buy one for my current car, i might not
be able to use it later on for a different car?

AcNem,

what do you mean by:

Hardened Steel? and Key-Hole Cylinder is Anti-Drill?

I taught all security mechanism are hardened steel? and anti-drill? how to
tell? I saw it myself and it requires a key to lock and unlock. anti-
drill? how to tell from the key-hole? btw, is there any manual or
waranttee card comes with the locktech?

the 1-stop I am referring to is at ipoh branch and not kl/selangor area.

If the deterrant effect is visual, doesn't it follow that the fake (as
long as it looks convincing) is as good as the original?

johnsmith,

majority well-known brand security mechanism are hardened steel. but
mostly fake / counterfeite products uses the most cheapest and low quality
material / steel.

anti-drill, look into the cyclinder hole, the first plate / washer (made
from hardened material) is spin-able. if we try to drill the cyclinder,
the washer will follows the drill spinning, hence prevent it from being
drill. err, hope my explanation is understandable. hehehe
