how much is your budget?
that model just a normal immo with dangles types! anti theft but no anti
hijacking!

1 cutting point, 2 cutting points and 3 cutting points! actually these
are the vital point that been cut and disable when the immo activated!

maybe 2 cutting points will be starter and fuel pump! so you cannot start
car! i think this is the simplest explaination! how you can understand!

I can get the Cheetah CH335B for < RM500 w/o installation. Best to
install these things on your own coz the mechanics are normally the ones
giving out information about your car and how to bypass the security
devices manually. If you fix on your own, only you know your secret. For
this immo model it's a 3 point cut off, cut off your fuel pump, ignition
and starter.

Cutting Starter is not really important because on a manual car can push
start or on an auto car you can just connect a thin piece of wire from
the positive(+) terminal of your car battery to the starter selonoid and
it'll start. So the best is to cut fuel pump and ignition.

Thanks sifus for the simple xplaination.

I guess I only need the anti-theft one that's why i asked about the
CH335B.

About installing the immo ourselves... mmm I am not sure I am capable to
do so, how bout the warranty of the equipment if we self-nstall them?

don't try to install yourself, unless you really know wat u doing...

otherwise, if u fry the unit when u attempt to install it, no-1 will
provide the warranty...

Hi all,

What an interesting thread....Yeap you can have all the best items but i
the installer sucks or has bad after sales service then it will ruin all
the excitement you have with installing expensive system.

Read that Malaysians don't care when a car alarm goes off blarring...very
true...the user himself also don't really care...why? coz they thik its
someone elses car....what can help maybe is a two way alarm...you can
install the best alarm but if your alarm is triggered but you don't know,
then it will not help....At least with two way you can know and you can do
something...

As for remote starting the car with a immo, well logically you can't do it
coz it will be searhing for the card and also maybe for that special
device which needs to be present. However if your installer is skillful it
can be done...So when remote start it bypasses the immo but when you
manual start it will be back to normal.
