That Autolock can be released without the key is well known. The seller
probably knows it as well but keep quiet just to make money. Very bad as it
just gives people a false sense of security.
Same with Stoplock steering wheel lock. It looks strong, heavy and
undefeatable but is just a piece of junk. It takes less than 30 secs to cut
a steering wheel and chuck it away.
If you want to really secure your car, get Disklok. It covers the whole
steering wheel so the steering cannot be cut or dismantled. No thief in his
right mind would attack a Disklok.

That disklock I remembered was abt RM500 last year. I really dunno how
much now.
But if you read the 'i'car mag there is also a steering lock that is much
lighter and claims 100%. I think a chinese or taiwanese man designed it.
It only covers the whole rear part of the steering wheel but provides
enough security like the Disklock.

Fooyc,
Yea, it is a bit expensive, but i rather put in another 200 bucks and get
something which would bring me peace of mind, rather than spend 250 bucks
for something which would just give a false sense of security.
Sometimes i fail to understand a few friends of mine, who spend a fortune
in modifying their cars, but never invest in upgrading the security
features of their cars, and one fine day...find their modified cars....stolen!

someone was bullshitting when he said that disklok cannot be dismantled.
disclok themselves adknowledge that their lock can be dismantled. go to
their website. it takes longer by a few minutes to dismantle disklock
versus autolock. why buy something so heavy, expensive and inconvenient ?
