I will be getting my new car soon, my dealer suggesting me to install this
Classic Brake Lock. The lock was installed permanently attached to the
steering rack, when you intend to lock just pull with your leg, doesn't
require to bend down, to unlock just a key able to reach while you are on
the driver seat.
Not like the steering lock, you require a space to keep it

Anyone installed this lock and how much will it cost ? Thanks

This brake lock will serve as a physical deterant, at least it will take
longer time to steal the car.

The dealer offer me RM450, is it a good price ?

Don't waste your RM to install all this lock.
Just use a normal steering lock (visiable) & protect your car with
GPS/GSM system.
Even if your car hijacked by ppl, it can recover.

no need to 'canggih' device lah, me just looking for extra protection. Is
wonder RM450 is a fair price coz my friend install one in another shop at
RM350, the device is different brand but almost look the same except the
key to open the lock, mine the key look like a cylinder with dotted all
over the surface.

If that the case, then just buy a good steering lock.
Stop Lock.

the side effect of using Stop lock will be it will damage the steering in
long run, i have been using it for few year, the leather that wrapping the
steering got scratches in the place where i normal apply Stop Lock, so it
is not so good for steering it seem.
