D4D , you should play it safe and get a Frontier or Ranger/Everest
to a Vigo as in the long run the VIGO will be expensive
to maintain with it's electronics.
Have driven the Frontier and the bugger IS powerful.plus
the VIGO is no. one on the theft list.

john,

i am also looking for 18lt delo 400, the best price i can get for a 5lt
pack is $65, way more expensive than shell (forget the name). but the delo
is certainly much more better.

For that reason, you could have gone to use the Caltex CXJ engine oil. It
has the HIGHEST Total Base Number of any oil that I have ever come across
so should take care of the high sulfur fuel with ease. Specially formulated
for Japanese diesel engine.

I will get my diesel car in couple weeks.
As the diesel quality in Malaysia are low grade.
No choice and not fair for Malaysian using diesel vehicle.
My question is,
which fuel company have better diesel quality?
( Relatively high grade among our low grade diesel )

a)Shell
b)Caltex
c)Petronas
d)Mobil
e)Projet
f)BHP

Thank you.

i think the all is the same quality, the most important is how often you change your diesel fuel filter.

i think that is correct assumption, there is not much difference between brands. The Euro 2 compliant diesel is supposed to contain only 500ppm of sulfur. Currently it is above 3000ppm in all brands.
