hey Sifu's.....

I had been quoted for a FIRENZA Tyre.... as i wanted a silent and comfort
tyre more than a performace type. been quoted for Rm180 for 195/55/15 ?
is the price ok?

By the way any Firenza user out here? How is the comfort and noise level
for this tyre...sale person claims that its good coz its from Japan and
the cheapest japan tyre.. i dont know how true is this...as i had never
come across this brand name at all. but i guess definately better than
those Malaysian made tyre i guess !!!

FIRENZA users... your comments will be highly appreaciated .

Thanks in advance

moky,

Not all "Made in Japan" tyres are fantastic.
Take Falken ZE326 for example. The tyres are crap. Totally hopeless in the
rain. That goes for the Falken Digneo range also, but if you have tried the
Falken ST115, that is totally different.

My friend have tried the Firenza. If not mistaken, under either Falken
Group or just sold by Stamford tyres.
My friend also in performance category, so he does not like this tyre.
In fact, he trade in after using for a while only.

rdgs,

U may try Bridgestone My01 (Thailand made), it's in the same price range
with Firenza. Not every model of Firenza tyres in made in Japan, some are
from Indonesia.

Hi,

I'm also using firenza right now. I was using Falken ST115 before but
unfortunately I can't find the size that I'm looking for.

For me ST115 is a much better tyre. Firenza is still not there yet in
terms of noise.

With this I think I'll concur with tayar4895 that of all the tyres that
I've tried, Azenis is still the best of the lot.

bro.,
i just changed my tire from FIRENZA ST08 to Michelin PP2 about 3 weeks ago.
FIRENZA tires, after hv done it about 70K km all i can say it was silent
and grippy for first 40K. at 70K, one of them is getting bengkak. so
decided to get new set eventhough still got bulu & about 50% usage.

last month was qouted RM190 per pc for 195/55/15 at ENOUS Bandar Utama. u
must look for tire made during 2006, as we are almost in month of June
2006.

those below 50 series, are made from Indonesia. the performance series
from Japan. u can get this tire if u go to any kedai selling FALKEN tire.
most probably brought to Malaysia under same company.

check this www.sumotires.com . last time sent an email to the website,
now, after about a month, still no reply. mmm...

after 70k km still got 50% ThumbUp
must buy tyre lor.........Wink

how many years u use the tyre??? i think u surely used it more than 3
years n the rubber get harden that's y it still got thread but bad
performance in wet condition n will burst if too hot(long journey
highway).

i tried FALKEN 326 b4 due 2 'made in japan' words, cheapest japanese made
tyre.......... n i swore i will never use it again.

on MICHELINE XM1 now, i love this tyre alot. durable n affortable. used
for 35k km alr, still very quiet...........

bbb7,
the reason for not continuing FIRENZA for my car is due to its sidewall
which i feel a bit soft.
my marriage with FIRENZA only last about 1yr 8mths.
and now with Michelin PP2 for almost 5K, yeah...me too will go for same
tyre in future!
