billy..

torsion bar is part of suspension system of our feroza.. the purpose of
torsion bar is similarly like coil spring or leaf spring but torsion bar
can be adjusted.. thats the advantage of using it..!

in order to do the adjustment, u need to tighten (clockwise)the lock nut
(it has two 19' nut) to lift the front suspension or anti-clockwise to
make it lower..

fastlane..
my cost is;

3" custom made shakle : RM40x2 pieces = RM80
Leaf spring "upward pressed" both side: RM180
torsion bar adjustment: D.I.Y

total cost: RM 260

i found that, this is a simple way of getting my feroza a better ground
clearence..

oh okies...tks sir. one more question, when you're adjusting the torsion
bar, is it that you have to adjust both side, or theres only one nut to
adjust?

billy..

both torsion bar has its own adjusting nut... each torsion bar has two
nuts (overlapping to each other to lock the setting). so u have to do it
both sides...btw, don't lift the torsion bar up to its maximum
height..because standard absorbers is unable to control the bumping
effect..

drop me a line at rimza79@yahoo.com, then i'll send some pictures of my
feroza for u to view how does it look like after "upgrade work".. those
interested were encouraged to do so.. love to share.

hi morodhi,

i used to make a visit to chop shops quite often.. when asking about rear
section of the car body, the answer is quite frustrating.. most half-cut
only comes with front section..

however i still believe there must be somewhere u can find it.. klang
valey have tons of 2nd hand /used parts..keep on hunting ya..!

for those who'd like to improve their EFI engine performance.. look for
after market "performance chip".. now available for feroza..!
