Nextar,
regarding the forum, there's no real bug actually, it's just that the ori Q&A was already 270+ pages that makes it so slow to load and in the end just hang. So. Hopefully our part 2 Q&A has solved the problem and all of us just hang around here
from my limited knowledge about auto transmission, flushing is the only way to really replace all the old ATF with fresh one

Just to add, the unser is mechanically very simple so there is nothing that outside mechanic cant handle, in fact a reliable mechanic may even do a better job and quicker compared to UMW, not to mention at a fraction of the cost.
The only time I go to UMW is to buy ori parts only i.e filters and maybe ATF fluid

Hi All, long time skipped the Angsa thread due to slower response. Since
the new chapter has started and it is very responsive, decided to hop in
again.
My angsa just reached 100K km last month during the CNY holidays.
Nowadays very seldom long distance travel as the children grow older and
cannot ponteng so much due to exam year and weekend tuition classes.
Service was still done by Kuantan UMWSC and it cost me RM 240.00 for the
standard 100K km service. So far there is no problem to the angsa after
5.5 years of ownership. How reliable.
In laws are coming tomorrow after casting their votes in Melaka and on
Sunday is planning to convoy to Kuala Terengganu for sightseeing, lekor
thingy & small shopping. In-laws must experience the color change from
all blue in Melaka to green-blue battle in Terengganu. Hope there will be
no change of Govt. in Terengganu as the previous experience in 1999, many
road blocks and govt. offices got locked for the change in Administration
the next day after the election.
Nextar, my normal fuel usage is 9.4lit/100km but it is during long
distance journey and at the constant speed of 90km/h, RPM is less than 3K.
Mine is a manual angsa.

Hello Hanafi,
Thanks for sharing you FC with me. Mine is auto ,I managed to review
again my FC and I found that the FC is still 11.4L/100km when I drove at
100 to 130 kmh. But the FC dropped drastically when cruised no more that
100kmh that is 9.5L/100kmh.

the brake fluid.

nextar, good for you...
that's why the angsa seems a bit difficult to let go due to the super cheap
maintenance cost

Hi LGX,
Ya....yaa....back to work today. Redang has very nice beaches and the
sand is white and soft too. Oh yes, the sea water is also very clean
and clear, unlike over here in the west coast. Enjoyed the keropok lekor
too...yum-yum.

One thing I noticed in Kelantan + Terengganu, there is NO TOLL !!!
(along the routes that i travelled)
cheers

hi LGX,
There are so many brands and models/patterns in the market. So cannot
comment without actually using them. I think it will be best if you were
to browse thru the forum on tires to get some feedback from those that
have used them.
cheers.
