If I'm not mistaken, the car in HK is cheap. Only the maintenance is
higher though...parking, road tax etc

One way or another, the govt. will get you....whether initial purchase,
duties, tax or parking, petrol, road tax, registration fee, driving
license, toll, etc. Only in M'sia the govt. get you every which way they
can !
