waaa....very helpful info you have there,da_krow...Thanks!!! actually i donno what oil is used by the previous owner coz i bought the car from the kedai 2nd hand when i was studied in japan. just bring back the car 2 months ago. i already go to UMW toyota service centre in Segambut but they dont accept any imported car such mine.but if i insist to do so, what oil is SC use for their car?
btw,for Anek1 info,my car is not turbo...just NA but it gives well response by the 190hp engine and its enough for me.

if u bought it from 2nd hand dealer in japan. then u're one lucky guy. it
must have cost u much less than getting it from a grey importer here.

JDM cars are serviced thoroughly and maintained by original parts in
Japan. that means the engines are generally still in good condition. since
UMW SC brushes u off... give them the finger.

try a 10 to 15w oil first. then if it gives no problem, switch to 0-5w
after around 5000km.

wish i could get my hands on a Carlos Sainz st185 Celica GT-Four. i assume
yours is a st202?

hehe, UMWT will use Toyota oil (Pennzoil) blended in Msia. No questions
asked. You can try the service centre in Sg Besi, they can service
imported cars (is it still there?).
I use Total SemiSyn for my Beemer and Toyota oil for Altis. Important is
regular oil change.
Anyway r u sure its 190bhp, I thought thats the turbo spec. A normal 3S-
GE is about 140 bhp.

Da_krow, Dream On. The ST185 Carlos Sainz GT4 are all museum pieces in
Germany now. For display only. You might be able to find a replica in
Spore as they were selling it then. Let me know if you get one or two, I

yeppp....im sure mine is 190hp(ST202) and 3S-GTE(ST205) is 250hp. maybe ur looking at the previous model or the lower grade SS1.
when i was in japan,my 1st car was nissan Pulsar and after i fed-up with the gasoline consumption, i changed to St180(GTR 4WS) and untill now i really love to know Celica family.
