Our government leaders always say that Malaysia is the model of Islamic
state for muslim countries, why proton didn't export to muslim world to

This patriotic thing reminds me of Rover in England. People used to be
proud of Rover and MG Rover. Unfortunately, the problems that they have to
face made them sick and tired of Rover. Ditch the patriotism, people there
buy other brands and Rover sinks to become one of the auto pariahs. Many
similarities between Rover and Proton

As for muslim countries, at one time, people in Kuwait buy proton to be
the pizza delivery cars. Of course, these are the cars fitted with extras
and thanks to Malaysians for generous subsidies.

i know patriotism do sell cars in korea but not malaysia, where we also
hv problem of unity, even if u wanna be patriotic, u need not buy proton,
there are other national cars to choose, otherwise, buying a CKD car is
also being patriotic as it's still assembled by our own ppl (and has many
local parts)

As I mention in another thread that the TRAITOR is the one that majority
give them power but abused it with corruption , cronism and nepotism.

So you can be MORE PATRIOTIC if you can get rid them all ( either with
your wallet or your vote )

Hear Hear!

That's patriotism in a nutshell. It's time people realise Potong is just
another money-getter scheme.

Myth: Potong stamps the name Malaysia as a proud car-maker nation

Reality: Potong brings shame to Malaysia for putting such sub-quality
products in the consumer market and actually hope people buy these sub-
standard products. Malaysians have nothing to be proud of but all to be
shameful for letting these crooks dip their hands in the honeypot and
taking away people's hard earned money. I don't know what foreigners do
if not laugh at our feeble attempt to produce that sad excuse of a car.
There is almost 0 national pride involved in producing the car, and I
don't understand how on earth the quality can be so BAD!!!

Potong will definitely go the way of Enron and other giant cheaters. God
has eyes and will see......

Patriot: one who buys the car that is best for his country's wellbeing. In
this case, the patriot should buy anything but proton, so that proton will
fail & the rakyat will be better off for it.

Chauvanist: one who forces others to buy proton & use the haram profits to
buy a BMW (of Munich, not Shah Alam)
