Expected in Malaysia mid 2006.
Price not sure, but can be around RM110k - RM120k range.
Specs:
125bhp (20% more than standard)
top speed around 220kph
5-speed gearbox
16-inch alloy wheels and 195/50 tyres
Dimension, cabin size & layout same as standard swift
Note:
with an extra-high compression ratio of 11:1, meaning that you would
definitely need high octane fuel. This could present problems in countries
like Malaysia where the highest octane at the pumps is RON97.
Prices may goes down for standard swift coz of plan to make it CKD instead
of CBU, like what happened to spectra last time. So, pricing of Swift
Sport maybe lower to less or around RM100k, maybe.

For the 11:1 compression ration, what is the recommended RON levels ?
If its more than 97 RON, worse come to worse, the new owner will need to
add a bottle of STP Octane booster (or any other brands) at every top-up.
The Swift Sport will be available in manual tranny only ?

Actually RON97 is the minimum requirement but do note there's a number of
petrol station in Malaysia especially in rural area and even some in KL
still don't offer RON97, only RON95 and Diesel.
But if u only plan to travel in urban areas like KL that shouldn't posed
much a problem, except during balik kampung and cuti2 malaysia at remote
area.
