We did that for a while but we found that one company was stealing our
data and repackaging it to sell to other companies, so we have had to
stop it. We also had clear evidence that the same company reproduced
exclusive information from our articles and are 1000% they stole some of
our pictures. I was amazed when the editor wrote in reply that they never
did such a thing!

I'll try to work out something where you can know what's going on in the
market but it needs to be carefully done so that copying is not possible.

AFAIK, you can put invisible watermark in AW's picture. That would be
easier to catch those culprits red handed. It's like a digital signature
unique to each picture.
