Smart Forfour discontinued production in 2006.
However, read in Auto Asean Nov 07 issue and Daimler AG Germany announced
they are reviving the Smart Forfour soon.

Does it matter if Daimler reviving the Forfour?
Even if they revive, unlikely the parts will fit anyway since they
already parted way with Chrysler and Mitsubishi. The 4/4 stopped
production in Dec 2005/Jan 2006. Now already Jan 2008, its consider old
in car technology and production.
If you planning to buy one, and worry about the discontinuation of the
4/4, then I suggest you not to go for it. You will not be happy worrying
on such!
If you already own one, you probably already know where to get the after
warranty support...
If for any consolation, even the popular corolla is discontinued after 2-
3 years of production when they released new model, other than the model
name....
