i was at hpc the other day, its already here, ah chai said 1000 for the
pro kit (but i am not sure if its the expensive one coz just view a bit
and no rear sway bar)
nice alternative for anyone looking for a new car (no r40 yet)

The rear adjustable sway car can be quite difficult to locate as unlike
other cars, it is located at the rear end of the car. It looks exactly
like the front adjustable sway bar.

Anyway, the most obvious difference is in the presence of the Centax
clutch and one way front diff on the pro kit (E class). The C class has
the normal clutch and front gear diffs. The top radio deck of the C class
is aluminum compared to the carbon graphite on the E class.

The pro kit (E class) should be priced at RM 1000 while the C class should
be about RM 100 less.

Check the prices of the spare parts first. Hard to say how cheap to
maintain as most nitro kits are just slightly more expensive. Also how is
the quality of the parts? close to serpent? or nearer to Ho Bao?

The finishing of the parts look good. Taiwan products have managed to get
around the cheapnest look of their products. Just don't know how durable
they are... Let us wait and see how they perform on track and their
associated problems. I don't know if it's the same as the GS. The car
looks good but their metal parts somehow not so.

i was aware of the sway bar location, thats why i'm looking specifically
for it, engine is not installed so dunno if centax or not, didnt c the
front diff or upper deck (it was past 12 midnight, i was buying my arm
mount, even knocked my head to the half way closed sliding door in the way
out), but if your pricing is correct then it must be the pro kit. strange
thing is ah chai said he is the distributor (or something like that) but
in the usa g4 is under trinity.

design wise it looks super cool (metal side brace like veteq/vector?), but
real life it looks a bit flimsy (the metal side brace), must be because of
its super trim design.

track performance? i read from other forum it has started winning in
europe, but isnt it just being launched?

pro kit - rm10xx
sport kit - rm8xx

some say it's the same as trinity. can anyone confirm ? the pro comes with
portofoam body, grp tyres, centax, alloy wheel nut. a lot fo attention put
into design. the metal parts esp the chassis doesn't look appealing. 3mm
and looks like can flex easily.

moat,

Yes, I personally like the side brace ala Serpent Veteq... It may look
flimsy but I think it males the car very rigid.

pokemon,

Well, the chassis may not be as good as say the 705 chassis Evil The
chassis looks more like the typical stock Kyosho / Mugen chassis. It may
be 3 mm but with the side brace, it will make the chassis very stiff. Just
like the 705. Still as long as works, then why complain?

the finishing of the chassis doesn't look appealing. it looks cheap thru
the plastic bag (is this the cause?) it looks like those audley 4wd metal
parts....

btw izit a good buy ?

I have seen the car after it's built. It looks good. I have not seen the
parts in the bag in the box. It's all sealed up in a foil bag. No way to
see the parts from there. I've taken a look at the manual and I would say
that the instructions are pretty clear and illustrative. Something like
what you get from the NTC3.

Something that I'm curious to find out is the performance of the car on
the track. If you go to Titiwangsa on the weekends, keep a look out on the
car. It may be running there.

And yes, the shocks looks awfully familiar. The colour and style looks a
lot like the V1RR shocks...
