Guys,
Next time if we meet up for TT or what not I volunteer to bring a weighing
scale.
Measure the 15inch Wheel/tyre
then the 16 inch Wheel/tyre
then 17 inch Wheel/tyre
Then we can comparo objectively.
If we get a super lightweight - Superleggara or Forged Aluminum or
Magnesium wheels - then even if its 17 it may be lighter than the 15in
combo.
If its lighter it would translate to better handling as you have lower
unsprung weight. Then since you are lighter you will need "less" braking
power to stop the same distance. etc etc....
And since lighter it means slighly better acceleration - But if tyres too
fat (>215mm from 195 oem) - results in increased rolling resistance -
affecting fuel consumption.
Thinner sidewalls means less flexing and less heat buildup - thus better
fuel mileage.....
Then there is a price factor too - the 17 inch tyre may be more costly or
the 16 in version may be costly also because its a low demand size etc.
berapa banyak etc lah....
Isk

Isk is right...try to maintain it within the 3% rule then you're ok. I
for one is looking to upgrade my rims & shocks once warranty period is
over.
