mosquito,
Some spare-parts shops are selling the Wira's electrical height adjustable
headlamps. Ori from Bosch and just slightly more expensive than the
standard non-adjustable but almost same price as the smoked headlamp aka
wira milennium/SE headlamp. I find that this feature is really god-sent as
I can play with different light throw angle in city (lower) or highway
(higher).
Regards.

my wira 1.8EXI SOHC AT year 1996 (purple colour) clocking 420,000km. engine
tip top. can travel to moscow anytime. saturday afternoon the gearbox kong
for the 3rd time since bought. got the recond gearbox for RM900. this is
the only problem for 1.6 and 1.8 wira.
roof no bubble.
absorber and spring still ok.
new mounting replaced 2 years ago.
the POWER n ECO indicater blown 5 years ago (no big deal as long as the
button still ok)
.
power window also in good condition.
the remote sun shade kong long time ago (useless)
full tank can go 500km (urban-highway 60-40)
the ori 5 spoke sport rim still in good shape.
ABS still ok and fully functioned.
210km/h should be no problem (surprised as the RPM shown 4450 at this speed)
i think the seat will take another 3 years to feel the "papan".
used car can afford to pay RM12k if i want to trade in. forget it laa...i
will use it till the engine die.

wonder why my fren's 1.6 auto change the throttle body quite often
laa...last 2 month was his 4th time since 1996. i think the tech, engine
and layout all same with 1.8. only the displacement is different. like 1.3
n 1.5...all same right?
