PVC or aluminum hose doesn't matter.. but if use PVC, the ripples might
create extra turbulence in the hose which will kill the flow. That's why
aluminum hose is better but more expensive and less practical in
handling. I mean th echeap aluminum hose can be easily sheared.. the PVC
is more flexible and durable i must say..

welcomed. Actually i have thought of getting those expensive aluminum
hose but if i am just CAI'ing the stock filterbox, i dun need such hose.
Unless you have an open pod then you might need a hose with bigger
diameter than the filter. Point the end of the hose at the filter and
partially cover it. The front of the hose point point to th ecold air
source like the area behind the bumper. If you think you want ram air
then point to the front. If just cold air can point downward or sideway.

Oh yes, there's a very simple way of doing CAI (no ram air) for Wira (and
the variants). Just remove the front part of the intake and a small heat
sheild. That's all.
