Some advice appreciated!

I'm having the same problem with my 1.3M 8-yr old Wira... Started engine
and after some idling it felt like it was gonna die... Turned on the air-
con and it went kaput! Sent to a Proton SC and they found the plastic-ky
stuff inside the ISC had broken, advised to change the whole thing...
They said they can change just the plastic component but would not last
long, as was experienced by their customers (is this true??)

They are quoting RM 850 for a new genuine ISC (the whole thing)... Okay??

i found out that the Throttle IC cover melts, does that mean the throttle
IC "karput"?

spareparts shop sell whole unit of throttle body, can i buy only the IC
and just plug in ? (any programming needed)?

yup! considered kaput. the shops do not just sell the ic. comes one set
with the throttle body
