Do you know why Proton Power Window always got problem? Becoz it is made
by alibaba company with no previous experience using components from
China. If they have used Nippondenso or Mabuchi then there wouldnt be any
problems. Proton Perdana uses Japan made motor so not many problems with
this model. They must change the design for Waja as it simply does not
work. Only TM without any techncal knowledge can say that the PWM problem
is solved during the Waja launch. Pity those Waja owners forking out
RM400 every few months for a stupid system made be those bolih people.

it is nut !
my brother is thinking about having a gen2 but i stopped him .
my dad said gen2 is cheap , he said getz around 60k . but later i told him
getz has airbags and imported ... he think think ... yes .
i BELIVE the component suppliers who do not want to improve the parts are
under BIG PEOPLE of Malaysia . Becasue it is BIG PEOPLE , even that they
do not want to change , proton still need to stick to them . if what i
BELIVE is real , i think that why AL still supply the lighting components
for proton is that BIG PEOPLE do not have the expertise to get involved in
that industry because it needs lot of testing and experience to make sure
the lens won't get fade and ... ... .

The lauya-vendor issue, I believe, always been a bane with Proton
particularly.
Going by general comments from owners, there is not one model where
everything clicked together just nicely.
The Satria 1.3 I owned before was good in all respect except the niggling
ones - the fuel indicator that is stuck at the half mark, alternator
kaputing halfway through its warranty (thankfully so!) reverse sensor
which doesn't work after a while etc.
But aircond was great, engine which never gives any trouble, problem free
electric windows - There was no major headache for me.
I will be thankful if my Gen2 auto comes fuss free. That would go a long
way to dispel any bad vibes from past ownership.
Amin..
