I bought a car last month on receive the car after 2 weeks.
Unfortunately, when I just got my car, the front bonnet is with a deep
scratch and can u believe that the salesman told me it's dirty. then he
uses a liquid (something like polish) and try to polish it off. the later
he told me, "Oh yes, it's a scratch" and then ask me to sign the D/O. But
on the D/O he did not mark that the car contain scratches.

I then complain to Perodua JB4 (since I bought the car from there) and
they told me that the problem can be easily resolved. since i don't
accept their solution to re-spray the scratched area, they say they will
swap the front bonnet for me with another new car. I was shock when he
said that he can swap but who cares as long as my car problem is solve.
then on the day after they swap the car front bonnet, the bonnet is not
alignment well and they told me that's the best they can do.

as for the paint finishing problem on 2 rear doors and back door, they
also swap with the new car but then later i found the new car back door
already rusty coz the paint ripped off. so i rejected the doors. i then
call the manager at Perodua JB4 and he told me that is the best he can do
and if i cannot accept it, he cannot do anything.

what rubbish is this. i bought a new car (in cash some more) but with all
this problem, who would accept such car. others bought a new car with
free gifts but mine come with free defects...

i plan to send a complain letter to Consumer Affair and let them handle
it. At least it will help Perodua to improve their quality, eventhough
forcefully....

I have already write in to Perodua. They bring back my car last 2 weeks
and then told me to give them 2 weeks but now almost 3 weeks and my car
still not yet come back. Perodua keep giving excuse saying no trailer, no
one to bring down the car etc. they promise me today but when i call to
verify they say tomorrow. next day they say another tomorrow...

How long it took for Perodua to solve your problem. Btw, what is the
problem with ur car?

Hope the HQ can solve your problem but unlikely they will replace a new
car for you if you have collected the car. Before collection, you should
request the HQ’s representative to verify the condition for acceptance or
reject.

To share my experience with you when dealing with the Perodua HQ . I
bought a myvi(A) earlier this year and discovered that there was
a “wowing” sound when press the accelerator during aircon kick in. I go
around most of the SC and Denso factory but no solution then sent my
complain letter to HQ. After 1 month, they collected my car to Rawang and
check for 3 weeks but still can not solve the problem. They will tell you
the “wowing” sound is acceptable to their standard. They close their file.

Can you imagine the way they close the file? Just have to bear with it if
u r getting the budget car from NEP organization.

Anyway, Myvi is a best budget car in bolehland but somehow or rather the
P2 try to change the supplier to improve the profit margin for very batch
of myvi car resulting more problem for the car like Disk brake
sound, prolong cranking sound from the starter....etc. As for aircon
clutch compressor to all the myvi car, they should use the piston type of
compressor from Kembara. Anyway, all boil down to cost, profit and sale.

4g13P,

Do you have any contact to put our complain to the Japanese? And how
effective the approach work?

Perodua who claim to use the state of the art technology in their
paintwork seems like do not live up to their reputation. If their quality
is same like Proton car, they should stop bragging about their quality..
The Perodua MyVi SXi that I received last month was full of paintwork
problem. I paid cash RM46,435 without any discount on the car. So I
expect the car quality to be the same as the one in the showroom since
the price quoted was base on showroom car. If the car Perodua provide to
customer could not meet the quality of the showroom car, should the price
also be reduced!

I cannot accept in simply closing a file just like that. I bought a
Proton Iswara (year 2000) and the car has many problem but not paintwork
problem. After going to Proton SC for about 3 months and problem not
solved, I was fed up and I sent a complain letter to the Consumer Board
and CC to Proton Directors & Hicom. I complain on the Salesman and the
car. Just few days later, I received a CC letter from Consumer Board to
Proton asking them to explain the matter. Few days later 2 guys from
Proton HQ claim to be from QC and Customer service department came to my
house and apologize on the quality of the car. They then loan me a car
for 1 week and then bring my car back for rectification. 1 week later
they rectify all the problem and then send it back to my house. Till now,
I'm still keeping the car as the engine, FC everything is still good.

Perodua wants to meet the quantity target but that does not mean customer
need to accommodate to the quality level produced. Just because most
customer will keep quiet and just go to SC doesn't mean they can just
throw all the manufacturing defects trash to the SC! Since when Perodua
SC begin to be a dumping area for mfg defect problem.

Imagine if they can swap my car bonnet with another car when there is a
scratch, how can I assuare that they did not swap my car bonnet with
another defective car!

Maybe I need to broadcast this matter to Perodua HQ, Daihatsu, Toyota,
Mitsui, MBM, PNB & Consumer Board then only they will take action?! Or
maybe I should CC to Proton to let them know that their competitor also
have quality problem so Proton don't have to worry too much on their
quality anymore!

in regard the "woooing" sound at the air con compressor, since the first
day i get my car i have this problem as is getting louder especially
after some start and stop trip in kl jam.

i have since complained to Denso HQ in regard this since after 1 week i
get my car in june 05. the sound is really annoying and Denso Hq also
fail to solve this matter for me. thus, till now the sound is still there
after owning this myvi 2year. and i do changed 2 compressor from Denso.

in between, after 1 year, my fren get 1 myvi and the "wooing" sound is
louder than mine. damn irritating especially driving at low speed (when
the air con kick ins)

between, i do service my air con (gas, compressor oil and drier) at Denso
authorized dealer after clocking 40k. the sound still there!!!!!!!
all this while i have faith in Denso quality but not this time....it lets
me down!! wake up Denso Malaysia!!!!!!!!!!

You are right, Clausewitz.

This “wowing” sound very irritating during the start & stop traffic jam.
I have tested most of the auto and manual Myvi but only noticed
the “wowing” sound appear for all the auto only.

As the statement from P2 Rawang Customer support Dept by the name of
Encik Khalid:

{Myvi (A) come with “Wooing” stereo hifi. its really depend on luck
whether to have the “Louder” or ”lighter” wooing sound.}

Just to bear with it and close the case. I have been driven so many car
in my life but the “Wooing” sound was the 1st experience to encounter.
Nobody can solve this problem after launching of this Myvi for the pass
2.5 years.

Japanese still sleeping? Or due to cost cutting to maximize the profit
for most sellable car in bolehland ?QuestionQuestion

totti,

i got my own sickening xperience wit P2SC oso. My wife kancil once
scratched like hell while waitin to be serviced. The manager ding dong
here and there as he dun wan 2 b responsible for it.

I call up HQ and make complaint, first they seems not 2 b really helpful
but after i "urging" dat i'm going to write in newspaper, then they act
promptly. But then, when we went to fix d car, they "punished" us by
making d job very slow and creating excuses/problems here and there. It
really wasted our time!!!

From there i've swear that none of my family member will ever buy P2 cars.

In case of complaining to Japs, u need to find their email. but that
would be very hard to do. So, just write a letter to d guys in Daihatsu
Japan.

Here's d name of Daihatsu Japan big bosses,

Chairman: Kohsuke Shiramizu
President: Teruyuki Minoura

EVP Product Marketing and Global Operations Group:
Katsuyuki Kamio

Address: 1-1, Daihatsu-cho, Ikeda-city, Osaka 563-8651 JAPAN

Oso to:
Toshiharu Imanishi of the Executive Officer - President,
- Perodua Auto Corporation Sdn. Bhd
- President, Perodua Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd
- President, Perodua Engine Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd

I once contacted Suzuki Indonesia, and they promptly reply to me and cc
oso to their big bosses in Japan. Damn Good customer service!!!
