hmmmm, performance for a 4g13, huh? if you were in the forum as
old as i am, yo'd be reading one of my thread long ago. i was too
runnning a 4g13, like your, but mine is a 99 model, which means, the
chip is not by siemens. siemens chip limits your car preformance i
reckon, more to saving your fuel. but i can say that my 1.3 was a good
runner even without heavy mods. all i did was piping with good
expensive exhaust system, open pod air filter, lightweight japaneez
alloys, good plugs, changing the engine oil as frequent as possible,
and it reaches 190km/h on kesas. really light. now what you can do
rozzani, is to send in your car to matspeed to let them reprofile your
cam, port and polish your head, swap to performance clutch, 4-2-1 or
4-1-1 header with thermal wrapping with good piping and good
muffler. and one important thing is to let your open pod feed on cold
air, crack your hood to do so.

Big Smile Excellent choice subsonique.

But i'm still pondering for an auto engine since my car is a manual...
My choices so far from certain individuals are:
1) the 1.6 V6 from eterna series
2) or the 1.5 twin cam lancer series

right now i want a half cut of it(brakes front n
rear,dashboard,engine,wiring,etc)
How much would it cost including installation and what are the related
problems that might occur(other then YA I KNOW ITS AN AUTO!)
iF not what are my other options....?

rozzani,

better go for engine swap if you want to play auto yet power then any
local one...

the mitsu 1.6 V6 also not a bad choice, you can take everything from the
half cut and the auto version a lot in the market! should cost you 2.5k ~
2.8k... as for the power, well... V6 with 120bhp, as for fuel
consumption, V6 you know lar... :)

mitsu 1.5 4G91 is better the our local 1.5 or 4G15, i think you also can
take everything from the half cut! the price should be around 2.5k, as
for the power... i think should be around 100bhp!

mitsu 1.8 4G93 auto version or our local putra or wira DOHC 1.8 engine...
i'm not sure whether you can use the bodypart or not... some of my fren
4G93 halfcut came from the japanese perdana body! anyway, this 1.8 should
cost you 3k ~ 3.5k depend on the condition lar... :)

as for the installation cost should cost you 1k ~ 1.5k

goodluck!

i'd go for the 1.6 v6 engine, better torque, and love those 6 shiny
tubes on the engine bay.

Do you think theres a mivec 1.6 auto? is it good?

Theres a contact that suggest i put a mivec auto engine and a mivec
controller. So i can 'play' with the timing when the mivec kicks in...
In the first place is there such things as a mivec controller? I know
theres a vtec controller from apexi.
