My Perdana V6 got michelin pp2 tyres.

The ride is hard and bumpy over even slightly rough roads.

Shock absorber or spring change needed?

How to make the car feel smoother and more soft/comfortable?

I used to drive a company's V6 Perdana in 2005. So this is just my hunch:
if your car bounce up and take longer than normal to return back to the
road, it is more likely the springs problem. We had a similar problem in
the Perdana and also the Nissan Sentra because the roads we faced everyday
here had many steep bumps unmarked/unpainted and potholes due to
construction works nearby.

If its bumpy sounds more like the damper have given way rather than the
spring. As the spring is holding ur suspension system, it'll have a bumpy
effect as its bouncing on the spring. The spring will last some years but
not the dampers.Wink
