Eh guys,

Do u guys know the current market price for Mivec top? And erm, is adding a mivec top on a 4G93P a viable mod?
If can right, then how does it affect on the petrol eh? And erm, what the difference in power to put a mivec top on a 4g93P bottom AND for a normal 4G93P to change cams to say matspeed cams?...

Price wise, dunno.

A 4g93p with mivec head will only be slightly higher in fuel consumption compared to without. Anyway, if you want your car to be fast, u gotta sacrifice a bit on fuel consumption ler. I think got big diff between mivec head compared to matspeed cams. One of my friend who drives a sgti with ori 4g93p have played 400m with several 4g93p with hi-cams and my fren has won all of them. He then played with a sgti 4g93p with matspeed hi-cams, matspeed close gear ratio, and full slick, the matspeed car won by half car's length. On the other hand, by changing the mivec head, 3rd gear can be head to head with a vtec b16a. Therefore, I reckon they would have around the same hp. A base 4g93p will normally dyno around 115 to 120hp atw, whereas a base b16a will normally dyno around 145-150hp atw. A little bit of trivia for you: The 4g93p will have it's huge amount of torque as an advantage at 1st gear in a drag with most cars of the same cubic capacity.

Anyway, I would suggest the mivec head.
