For information , those cars are SOHC , but I really like the car shape ,
but not the engine , they should put in DOHC , at least becoz DOHC is
almost considered a de facto standard on new cars. But nice car shape

The new Eclipse are crap. Utter crap. No longer you get the turbocharged
AWD Eclipse of the old. YOu end up with a FWD front heavy stilly "ribbed
for your pleasure" styling that is slow slow slow. Oh and it handles like
a wet noodle especially the Spyder version.

Mitsubishi Eclipse like they said are ADM (American Development Models)
where Japanese themselves dun get to eclipses back in Japan...
the engine that the eclipse uses is not a VR4...but as all mitsubishi 2.0
turbo engines are coded as 4G63...as a result the eclipse's engine's 4G63
and so does the VR4 Galant's and Lancer Evolutions...
but all three are not the same block..probably..similar in components but
not all..and most obvious difference is the ECU..
but i do believe there are also NA eclipse models...
well gettin' an eclipse in m'sia aren't that easy..as i only managed to
spot one or two eclipses here b4...
anyhow..even if u r lucky enough to find/own one, guess it would be u'll
have a tough time lookin' for replacement parts here..
and not forgettin'..since its an ADM..the eclipses usually comes with left
hand drive only..
