Hi all. the little piece of plastic / fiberglass on the front (bumper /
skirt) left side
of my GTi has fallen off.

where can i buy a new / recond one?

please advice.

that thing called tow eye cover... u need to put it out to reach the
towing hook... if not mistaken, SGti one same with wira A/B SE right...
so go and ask at spare parts shop la.. if not available, then go to chop
shop la..

I lost my about 2 years ago, the cost for the small plastic is RM80 +

yes Alex, and that's probably why yours "fell" off...

I am so disgusted, I used to be a SGti owner and found that parts were
being stollen from most SGti cars. It's such a cheap car to maintain, yet
people either can't afford to maintain it or don't want to spend the
money to do so, and rather get parts off other SGTi's

The other big thing was the Aerofoil. I had a friend who lost the whole
thing and had to replace it with a Batmain spoiler.

just for reference, the tow eye cover can be bought at proton dealer
parts center.. the part no is PW567033 and cost RM48.. the paint job cost
me another RM30..

Is that cover the same size as the Neo's one ah? and could it be bought at
any other place? I'm gonna kill the b*****d who took mine.

I think different.. Very difficult/troublesome/time consuming if you want
to buy at other place.. Just google for the proton part dealer
address/phone and call them first to enquire.. quote the part number..

I gave up replacing it. So when my front skirting was damaged due to those
bloody kerbs, I decided to get an imitation front skirting from BROTHERS
for RM25 only.

Nowadays, the tow truck don't need to access to the tow hook. There are
more than one way to tow your car.

raider, where did you do the paint job? just bought a new cover.. black
lar.. cannot fit my car paint..
