Haiya! I miss my GTi handling lar! After I sold my GTi and bought a boring
1.3 Wira Aeroback... the Wira handling is like a drunk sampan on alcohol
lah.

So to you gurus and sifus here, how to make Wira handle like GTi? Can i
just drop in the GTi coils and shocks? Or do i need to transplant GTi
power steering into Wira?

haha.. the 1st thing to remember is to look at how long your wira AB is,
compared to the GTi, the tyre size..etc, and then you realise, that you
can never really get 100% the feel of your gti, on your wira AB.

but you can still turn the Wira AB into a good handling car, in its own
respect. but you can never compare it to the GTi.

change your absober to better one.. better spring? install anti roll bar..
install strut bar.. get better tyre for grip.. get bigger sport rim... all
this will not help you improve power.. just handling better..

Haiya, now very miskin lah, after buy house :) That's why i sell the 2
door GTi for cheaper Wira 4 door, become family man.

I think it is no use to put strut bar lah, it is only useful if you always
go rally driving, to prevent your wheel-arch from collapsing. So you
people who bought strut bar really kena con by mekanik lah.

Anyway, I just want to improve handling. The Wira A/B does have stabiliser
bar, comes with the car lah, but this thing too soft i think.

So how?

Hi extreme... "SilverBull" sounds kinda nice too... :)

I happy lar, but this Wira sampan-style handling makes me feel very unsafe
on the road.

My house is 240K. All my money spent on the house, and immediately miskin.
I'm comtemplating to change the Wira to an old model BMW 318i... at least
the handling is better than the Wira, and that car is cheap too, around
25K.
